29:28. ಅವನು ಬಹಳ ಮುದುಕನಾಗಿ ಸತ್ತನು. ಅವನ ದೀರ್ಘಾಯುಷ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ಗೌರವ ಸನ್ಮಾನಗಳು ದೊರೆತವು. ಅವನ ನಂತರ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಅರಸನಾದನು.

29:28. ಅವನು ದಿನಗಳು ತುಂಬಿದವನಾಗಿ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯದಿಂದಲೂ ಘನದಿಂದಲೂ ತುಂಬಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಒಳ್ಳೇ ವೃದ್ಧಪ್ರಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ತುಹೋದನು. ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಆಳಿದನು.
